The 'Totem' lamp, designed by Gae Aulenti for Stilnovo in the 1970s, is a study of futurism and form. Originally conceived as a wall-mounted fixture, it lends itself beautifully to life as a sculptural statement table lamp. A rare and highly collectible piece.

Wiring Options:

1. Original: Retains its original wiring, designed for wall or ceiling installation; untested. Fitted with two rechargeable bulbs that screw directly into the sockets and are operated via remote control. Offers maximum styling flexibility while preserving the original mechanics.
2. Rewired: The lamp can be rewired for use as a table lamp upon request

Gae Aulenti was one of the most influential Italian architects and designers of the post-war period. Alongside her architectural work, she made a significant contribution to lighting design, creating lamps for manufacturers including Artemide, Vistosi, Candle, Fontana Arte, iGuzzini, Poltronova, Stilnovo, and Martinelli Luce. Her lighting designs often reflect architectural thinking: solid, almost monumental forms combined with refined control of light and material.
